The tape used to seal the box and the box itself is compostable & recyclable, plastic-free and made with a natural, rubber-based adhesive. Any foam packing materials used are made from 100% genetically modified free starch, are 100% biodegradable, fully compostable, and manufactured from annually renewable sources. They decompose completely when placed under running water.
